During the merger between Frichti and Gorillas, I participated in the redesign of the new Gorillas app. The idea was to bring all the knowledge we had at Frichti to have the best application.

This project is different from the others because it was realized in a context of emergency. With the restructuring of the teams, the merger and the economic situation, we had to get results (very) quickly and release the app as soon as possible. That's why for the redesign we didn't do a complete research phase but rather a redesign based on the knowledge that Gorillas and Frichti had.
I joined the squads that handled the consumer experience between onboarding and checkout. I had to take the work that was done from that to design the new screens.
I designed the new home screen, categories, search, favorites and products based on the knowledge and data we acquired at Frichti. However the constraints were different. The app being international I had to take into account the language constraints and the constraints of each country.
We tested the screens with members of the product teams to make sure they were understandable. Then we met with the different teams to pitch them the project. We used this prototype that I made to show the new design.
The design could be developed in the following months.
